Deepwater Construction Project

Upper & Lower Crystal Springs & San Andreas Reservoir, San Mateo County, California

Project Overview:

Construction sediments were contained within designated work zones during seismic and hydraulic upgrades at three reservoirs originally built in 1888. The project included demolition, installation of new tunnel liners, and the refurbishment or replacement of water management infrastructure. Frequent barge traffic was accommodated while maintaining water quality through the use of 9,150 feet of tapered Type 3 HD turbidity curtains.

AS 40 Anchor Packages with Danforth anchor, chain leader, 5/8” poly rope, A-2 Anchor Buoy and 5/8” painter line
