Construction sediments were contained within designated work zones during seismic and hydraulic upgrades at three reservoirs originally built in 1888. The project included demolition, installation of new tunnel liners, and the refurbishment or replacement of water management infrastructure. Frequent barge traffic was accommodated while maintaining water quality through the use of 9,150 feet of tapered Type 3 HD turbidity curtains.

Contaminated sediments generated during hydraulic dredging were contained within multiple work zones using 3,400 feet of double-walled Type 3 HD turbidity curtains to effectively control and manage site turbidity.

Construction sediments at the Folsom Dam spillway project were contained within multiple work zones during construction of the new spillway. Turbidity was effectively managed using 4,800 feet of Type 3 turbidity curtains during Phase I and 2,500 feet during Phase II.

Bucket dredging operations were contained within multiple work zones while protecting environmentally sensitive mitigation areas and accommodating frequent barge traffic. A total of 30,300 feet of Type 3 turbidity curtains, along with specialty turbidity curtain systems, were utilized to effectively control turbidity throughout the project.

The City of Boise and Brown & Caldwell designed a model wastewater treatment facility using a watershed-based approach to meet Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) requirements. Treating up to 130 million gallons of water per day, the facility incorporated ABASCO baffle systems during the lagoon separation process, along with additional containment solutions to optimize treatment performance.
